This workshop will overview the current thinking about the contribution of trauma to grief. Moreover, we will discover together practical ways both professionals and volunteers can be helpful—in the early hours after loss and along the difficult road ahead. Though Bill Hoy has presented about traumatic loss for most of his 35 years in practice, this topic takes on special relevance now.
