Special Initiatives
CHC Disaster Preparedness

Each CHC is actively engaged within its respective communities on the planning,
training, and drilling in the event of a disaster. Each CHC works with their respective community leaders, organizations, other health care providers, haz-mat, law enforcement, and county health units in their disaster preparedness planning. Readiness strategies, referrals, roles and containment are included in the plans.
