Jefferson Comprehensive Care Systems, Inc. is partnering with the Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services and Arkansas Baptist College to host a National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness day event - "My Body...My Health...My L.I.F.E. (Learning Information for Empowerment)" on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 10 am - 3 pm on the campus of the Arkansas Baptist College.

12 Arkansas Community Health Center locations to receive funding, participate in a program to improve care

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced recently that 500 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), including 12 Arkansas locations, have been selected for the FQHC Advanced Primary Care Practice demonstration project from over 800 applicants.  The 500 community health centers in 44 States across the country will receive approximately $42 million over three years to improve the coordination and quality of care they deliver to people with Medicare and other patients.  The initiative is designed to evaluate the impact of the advanced primary care practice model, al

Jefferson Comprehensive Care System Expanding HIV Testing & Treatment

Pine Bluff's Jefferson Comprehensive Care System, Inc. is getting $158,011 in U.S. Department of Health and Human Services funding to help expand HIV testing, medical care and other services for patients with HIV/AIDS at its health centers in Pine Bluff and College Station. 

Jefferson County Comprehensive Care Systems will use $125,965 in Ryan White CARE Act Title III funds to help provide rapid testing and services for more than 70 additional patients.
