Communications & Public Relations

CHCA actively and proudly promotes the work the CHCs do and the services they provide for and on behalf of medically underserved Arkansans. CHCA utilizes a variety of strategies and venues for the promotion of CHCA, their member CHCs, and the patients they serve.

• Exhibiting
  CHCA maintains a presence at statewide expos, trade shows, and conferences for the purpose of distributing educational materials, promoting CHCs, and engaging attendees in conversations around the CHC model of care.

• Advertising
  Print, television, radio, and web advertising strategies are pursued in a targeted manner, designed to reach appropriate audiences with appropriate messages.
  
  
• Annual Report
  The CHCA annual report provides a yearly snapshot of the CHCA activities and accomplishments made on behalf of their member CHCs.
  
  
• Quarterly Newsletter
  CHCA’s quarterly  newsletter, “The Circuit”, presents news and human interest stories focused on Arkansas’ CHCs and highlights the positive impact health centers make for underserved Arkansans.
  
  
• Monthly e-Update
  CHCA’s monthly e-Update highlights the current activities of CHCA, and discusses the current state and national news and hot topics that have a direct impact on Arkansas CHCs and the patients they serve.
  
  
• CHCA web site
  The CHCA web site serves as an information hub for partners, state agencies, legislators, advocates, and anyone interested in the Community Health Centers and CHCA.  In, addition to the latest news and resources, the web site contains an event calendar, job board, and an interactive map displaying all Arkansas CHCs and the services they provide.
  
  
• National Community Health Center Week
  CHCA facilitates, promotes, and/or provides support for statewide and local events celebrating National Community Health Center Week (NCHCW) which occurs annually during the month of August. Each year, CHCA obtains a proclamation from the Governor of Arkansas recognizing NCHCW in celebration of CHCs and the work they do on behalf of medically underserved Arkansans.
  
  
• Website Design, Management, and Hosting
  CHCA designs, manages and hosts it own website and offers these services to their member CHC organizations.
