Community Health Centers of Arkansas, Inc.
develops and implements various strategies and resources for
assisting CHCs with filling current and potential CHC provider
and nurse openings.
Such strategies include implementing SEARCH, MASH and SUCCESs,
working with National Health Service Corp. recruitment; working
with UAMS Family and Community Medicine, Pediatrics, Center
on Aging, the AHECs, Southern Rural Access Recruitment Program,
and University of Tennessee Dental School, Southern Rural
Access Recruitment Program and local community and technical
colleges. CHCA also works closely with the State Office of
Rural Health and Primary Care to develop and implement recruitment
and retention strategies.
