Arkansas Health Centers Earn Recognition for Quality Care

Ten of Arkansas's community health centers have earned 2026 Community Health Quality Recognition badges from the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA’s) Bureau of Primary Health Care.

The badges recognize health centers nationwide for achievement in access, clinical quality, health outcomes and health information technology (HIT). HRSA awards them each year based on Uniform Data System (UDS) reporting, an annual reporting system that provides standardized information about the performance and operation of health centers.

Four Arkansas centers earned Health Center Quality Leader badges, which are reserved for health centers ranking in the top 30% nationally for overall clinical performance:

Boston Mountain Rural Health Center and Mainline Health Systems earned Gold (top 10%).
East Arkansas Family Health Center earned Silver.
Mid-Delta Health Systems earned Bronze.

Boston Mountain led the state with seven badges. It was recognized as a National Quality Leader in behavioral health, diabetes and heart health. They also earned the Preventive Health, Improving Health Care Access and Advancing HIT badges. East Arkansas Family Health Center followed with six badges.

Ten centers earned the Advancing HIT for Quality badge. That badge recognizes telehealth services, electronic exchange of clinical information, patient engagement through health information technology, and screening for patients' health-related needs.
