Building Health Equity Through Collaboration

At Community Health Centers of Arkansas (CHCA), our mission has always been clear: to provide access to quality, affordable care for every Arkansan, regardless of background or circumstance. But as we move forward, we must also recognize that health equity cannot be achieved by health centers alone. It requires strong partnerships with schools, faith leaders, policymakers, and community-based organizations.

Our work has shown that when we break down silos and collaborate across sectors, we don’t just treat illness — we transform lives. For example, recent partnerships to expand school-based health services are helping children receive preventive care before small issues become big challenges. Similarly, collaborations with local nonprofits are allowing us to address food insecurity and housing stability, which are just as critical to health as medical care itself.

Together, we are creating a stronger, healthier Arkansas.
