CHCA Names Tafta McCain Chief Financial Officer

McCain’s experience in community health finance will support CHCA’s mission and long-term strategic growth.

March 04, 2026 | NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – Community Health Centers of Arkansas (CHCA) announced Tafta McCain as its new full-time chief financial officer, effective March 2, 2026.

 

McCain, who has more than 25 years of accounting and financial experience, comes to CHCA after

serving as a contract CFO through Community Link Consulting for the past 18 months. She also spent nearly 15 years as CFO for Mainline Health Systems, a federally qualified health center and CHCA member.

 

CHCA Chief Executive Officer Lanita S. White, Pharm.D., said she is confident McCain will continue building finance functions that support CHCA’s mission and members while strengthening the organization’s financial strategy and stewardship.

 

“Tafta is a proficient problem solver who is passionate about community health. We are delighted to have her full-time,” White said. “What makes this especially exciting is that she already understands our systems, our grants, our partners and the unique financial landscape of Arkansas community health centers. That depth of knowledge is a tremendous asset to our organization.”
