LITTLE ROCK, AR — Community Health Centers of Arkansas, Inc. (CHCA) brought together hundreds of attendees and more than 50 speakers for its 2025 Conference, centered on the theme “Renewal! Revitalizing Connections, Reimagining Care.” The event, which is the first conference since 2019, celebrated the impact of community health centers across Arkansas and explored innovative strategies to expand access to care.
“This is a wonderful time to celebrate our community health centers and to watch them reconnect with each other, share ideas, learn together, and renew themselves,” said Dr. Lanita White, Pharm.D, Chief Executive Officer of CHCA. “I’m so grateful and so proud of the work our health centers do every single day.”
The conference featured dynamic sessions across five tracks focused on leadership and management; finance and revenue cycle; clinical insights and solutions; information technology and cybersecurity; and quality improvements and data analytics. There was also a panel of experts discussing maternal health and a keynote address from New York Times bestselling author, motivational speaker, and body language expert Janine Driver.
During the opening session, CHCA unveiled a new logo designed to reflect connection, trust, and resilience – qualities that define both CHCA and the Federally Qualified Health Centers in Arkansas.
On Thursday night, CHCA honored seven Arkansans in an awards ceremony.
Staff Member of the year – Kalya Lopez, 1st Choice Healthcare.
Provider of the year – Dr. Claire Servy, Community Clinic
MVP Award – Evonda Williams, Olly Neal
Community Hero – Kimberly Brown, Olly Neal
Advocacy Award – Gary Allan Nichols, Mainline
Jack Geiger Award – James Semingson, Community Clinic
Trailblazer Award – Rep. Jeremy Wooldridge
In addition to powerful keynotes, panel discussions and breakout sessions, the conference highlighted CHCA’s ongoing role as a driver for stronger healthcare systems across Arkansas, ensuring that community health centers continue to meet the needs of more than 300,000 Arkansans each year.
"Our world has changed dramatically in healthcare since 2019 and this conference is a great way to re-energize, recommit and reaffirm what we do, why we do it, and how we do it as we go forward.” said Judd Semingson, CHCA Board Chair and CEO of Community Clinic. “It’s great to be able to come together, exchange ideas and best practices to take back to our regions. That doesn’t happen without the ability to come together in events like this conference.”
