Boston Mountain Rural Health Center celebrated a grand opening of a new clinic in Conway, one of the fastest growing communities in Arkansas.
Boston Mountain’s presence there is the first for a CHCA member and gives the Faulkner County community much needed primary care services for low-income and disadvantaged patients.
Dr. Laura Massey, an established primary care physician in Conway, was hired by Boston Mountain to head medical operations at the new clinic. She provides instant community credibility.
Toynicka “Nicky” Williams, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and Angela Howard and Rebekah Pevia, licensed clinical social workers, head the behavioral health team at the Conway clinic.
Members of the Boston Mountain Board of Directors and Conway community leaders were on hand for a ribbon cutting at the clinic where hot dogs and other goodies were given away.
Chief Executive Officer Debbie Ackerson pulled winning names for prizes.
The clinic is conveniently located on U.S. 64, just west of Interstate 40 and adjacent to Wal-Mart.
