Leadership Institute

INTRODUCING THE CHCA LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

Apply now to be considered for the inaugural institute class.  Submit your application by October 2, 2020.

 

The Leadership Institute is a two-year program commitment for Community Health Center managers. There is an application process. Class size is limited.  

 

The Leadership Institute’s purpose is to address the demand for qualified leaders in CHCs, which is essential for growth and improvement of operations. Participants will increase knowledge and skills that will support access to career advancement opportunities and support strengthening CHC operations.

 

Content:

  • Foundations of leadership theory

  • Key leadership skill sets

  • Employee development

  • Goal-setting

  • Skill development

  • Organizational finances

 

In Year 1, the institute will consist of bi-monthly sessions that begin in November 2020 and offer opportunities for connections throughout the year using an online learning platform. In Year 2, sessions will be held on a quarterly basis beginning July 2021.

 

Meetings will be held VIRTUALLY, until such time it is safe to meet face-to face in Little Rock. Each session will be held from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. (with some pre/post session assignments/activities).
